Poker Stars has released their schedule of all of the top events and also a list of those who have qualified on their site. It looks like they will have an impressive year and Poker Stars have stated that they are shooting to have more than 1,000 players during the summer’s World Series Of Poker event. In order to bring the people in they will be running a new promotion over the next few months that will allot $12,500 in prize packages to those who qualify.

This isn’t such a bad deal to give someone a chance to make their mark on the poker world. Many of the well known and best poker players got their seat on the WSOP event because they won it through Poker Stars. Poker Stars doesn’t care who can get on and play as long as they can play well. This means that you don’t have to make tons of money in order to play and qualify through their ‘Big Dance’ free rolls that can be found through different satellites. If that was not enough players will have the chance to trade in FPP’s (otherwise known as Frequent Player points) to get a seat at the WSOP. The step-based SNG’s are also available and the buy-ins can be as low as $2.

Poker Stars is one of the few sites that actually offers the qualifiers a cash incentive. Many sites offer these incentives to attract people in and hopefully to pull out yet another to poker player that have passed through their online site many times already.

If these players win they can have a chance to make history in the poker world and can win as much as $100,000 and $1,000,000. That isn’t the only incentive that Poker Stars offers. They also offer payments that will add up to $50,000 to those who can make it to the final televised table at the World Series of Poker event.
