Poker Stars Holding Satellites to the Greek Poker Cup

The Greek Poker Cup will be taking place starting on March 23rd and ending on the 27th in the Casino Loutraki. This is the largest casino in the country and in order to celebrate the fact that the event will be taking place, Poker Stars has opened up a series of satellite tournaments that players 23 years of age or older can take advantage of in order to see one of the nicest countries around and maybe even win some cash in the process.

Poker Stars has prize packages for the Greek Poker Cup which are valued at €2000 each. These prize packages will be awarded in satellite tournaments that have buy-ins of €109 and will be awarded at the rate of one prize package per €2000 in the prize pool in some tournaments and 1 per €1100 in other tournaments depending on when the satellite tournament is played.

The actual buy-in for the Greek Poker Cup is €1100 including the €100 registration fee and that means that players will actually have €900 left over that they can use for other things. Travel and accommodations are part of what this money is intended to cover, but players will be responsible for paying any fees above this amount of money that might come up as a result of the arrangements they make to get to Greece for the tournament and stay in Greece while playing it.

Overall, players can actually make their way into the €109 tournament for free as there are going to be daily satellite tournaments available on Poker Stars that will each award at least one seat into one of these events. Players willing to pay a little bit of cash can get even better odds at getting into the final with higher buy-ins of €3.30, €5.50 and €11 available, each of which will have a number of €109 entries available depending on the amount of money in the prize pool. For easier entry into the tournament, a player could easily end up seeing their meagre €3.30 investment initially end up paying off huge dividends if they can parlay that into a seat and a cash at the Greek Poker Cup.
