Party Poker Saying Goodbye to 2010 in Style
The year 2010 was an important year for the world in many ways, not the least of which was the idea that Party Poker threw a number of impressive parties and promotions onto the table. Now, the year of the online poker promotion is coming to an end and Party Poker is potentially saving their best for last.
It is called the Party Poker 5-Star Poker Challenge and it will give people the chance to play in a $5000 freeroll tournament every single day. Each and every day from December 1st to December 31st will see one $5000 guaranteed prize pool tournament played. In order to qualify for each tournament, all that you have to do is earn 5 Party Poker Points in the previous day. This starts on November 30th and it continues all the way through to December 30th with the qualified players playing in the next day’s $5000 tournament.
This is not the only part of the promotion however as any player managing to qualify for at least one of these freeroll tournaments (known as Five Star Freerolls) will get the chance to play in a $50,000 grand finale tournament that will be held on January 2nd in the New Year.
If players are able to capitalize big time on these tournaments and actually win some of them, there are even more prizes potentially available. Players that are able to win two of these tournaments will get $5000 on top of their tournament winnings. Any player able to do this three times will get $50,000. Finally, any player able to win 5 or more tournaments will get the maximum promotional prize of $500,000. Extra wins are synergistic to the overall bonus claim because not only will the winners get these extra prizes, but they will also of course get the prizes from the tournaments themselves and potentially even something from the $50,000 finale depending on how they do that day.
With so many different ways to win, Party Poker could easily be giving out millions of dollars in cash prizes by the time all of the cards have been dealt and the year 2010 has melted away into 2011.
