Party Gaming Expanding Abroad and Developing at Home

It has been a busy time for Party Gaming, the parent company of the Party Poker online poker operation. It has new things happening all over its operations including expansion abroad and development at home. In the expansion area, Party Gaming has done a lot to get their brand into different markets recently and they have also recently succeeded at gaining a foothold in the European country of Italy.

The agreement sees Party Gaming working together with Fueps, a company that is already heavily known in Italy as a provider of excellent casual gaming services. Under the agreement, Party Poker software will be used in the country and Party Gaming will provide services for online casinos to Italian players while at the same time making sure that non-Italian players on Party Poker will not be able to access the online casino element that is being created exclusively for use by residents of the country.

At home, Party Poker has done quite a bit to advance the quality of their software in recent times. This includes the introduction of break synchronization for tournaments, meaning that all tournaments break for five minutes during the last five minutes of each hour. Since Party Poker has introduced this synchronous breaking system, it means that people playing multiple tournaments at Party Poker and any other online poker site that has adopted the same system will get a chance to actually take a break instead of just playing through the tournaments that are still going.

Table stacking console functionality is another new element of the Party Poker operation. Instead of multi-tabling, table stacking would allow players to see their tables stacked on top of each other in an interesting new way of doing things. Once Party Poker gets enough feedback from players, they will decide whether or not to keep this new element or shed it in favor of something else.

Overall, Party Poker and their parent brand Party Gaming certainly appear to be keeping busy and expanding their online presence. Ever since the Party Poker relegation to 4th place in online poker following their withdrawal from the US market, Party Gaming has needed to ramp it up elsewhere to make up for the revenue loss.
