PKR Poker has been part of a number of firsts in the world of online poker. They were the first online poker website to aggressively pursue the idea of 3D poker online and then later on they were the first online poker website to popularize the idea of three dimensional online poker gaming. Now, PKR has added their name to another series of firsts by being in on the first online live streaming infrastructure that World Series of Poker final tables will have.

Just a few days after ESPN360.com and Bluffmagazine.com announced their intentions to partner together and then collectively stream 24 final tables of events of the World Series of Poker on their websites, PKR Poker has announced that it will do the same thing. Some of those events will overlap with what is already available from ESPN360.com and Bluffmagazine.com, but at the same time a number of those events aired on PKR Poker will be different.

These include the $10,000 World Championship Omaha/8 and several other World Championship events, all of which will be freely available on PKR for anyone from around the world. Additionally, PKR has also moved into sole possession of the role of non-US title sponsor to the WSOP website. All of this is exciting news for the up and coming online poker website and it has made many very eager about the future of online poker streaming.

With the entrance of PKR into the online live streaming of final tables at the World Series of Poker, this particular issue can no longer be ignored. Three major entities within the poker community have now put their best foot forward in terms of streaming activities and that means that there will be no way to ignore the results of the streaming be they positive or negative. If a lot of people make use of the streaming, one can expect more streaming of more events in the future. If the streaming efforts of PKR, ESPN360 and Bluff Magazine all prove to be duds, it could conceivably set the online streaming of poker final tables back a few years.
