MyPokerCard – New Credit Card for Poker & Other Online Gambling Sites

Although credit card companies have largely tried to get away from allowing their cards to fund transfers to online poker sites (and by extension all online gambling organizations), players like those from the United States and United Kingdom have always looked for a way to make things work.

Now however there is a new credit card that is specifically designed for making those transfers to online gambling websites. It is called MyPokerCard and while it is only available to residents of the UK right now, there is every reason to believe that if this card is successful it will soon become available to people all over the world.

This credit card is similar to other credit cards in many ways. In fact, it is considered a Gold MasterCard and that means that it is a credit card that is to be respected even relative to most of the other cards that are out there on the market.

That being said, this credit card has many advantages over other cards specific to being used for the online gambling. The most pronounced advantage would have to be the fact that unlike most other credit cards, this one does not connect to the bank account of the user at all. Instead, the credit card has a balance on it that is loaded on at a UK post office, bypassing the bank account transfer altogether. This allows insulation from potential irregularities with a bank account and since the maximum limit right now is just GBP 500.00 per day, there is every reason to believe that it does a good job of insulating any potential loss that might occur.

Honest online gambling sites have recognized how a card like this could benefit their players and therefore they are taking steps to make sure their UK customers are aware of its existence. The site Cool Hand Poker for example has a bonus of EUR 200.00 related to using the card, an offer that even comes with a complimentary GBP 10.00 added to the balance of new cards that are generated through its website. In time, it is hoped that more online poker sites will adopt similar bonus policies.
