Monthly Million Tournaments at iPoker Network
Come this September, and you could play the $1 million prize money tournament, dubbed the ‘Monthly Million’ in the iPoker network. The $535 buy-in gala event will be officially kick started on September 13th, at 18:00 hrs GMT. The iPoker Network is owned and operated by Playtech.
Amongst poker rooms, Titan Poker is one of the major ones that are gearing up to offer Monthly Million to its patrons. A number of ways to qualify for the tournament are offered, including a $1.10 buy-in tournaments that take place Monday - Saturday at 17:15 GMT. In an attempt to spread the word to a multitude of players worldwide, Titan had announced that the marketing material is available in a variety of languages including English, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, German, Dutch, Swedish, and Portuguese.
Every day, save Sunday, Titan Poker holds a $666 buy-in freezeout that offers three seats in the Monthly Million. Same day, at 14:30 GMT, there is $6.60 rebuys that award eight seats in the tournament. Further, for players, there is a $6.60 buy-in satellite that guarantees 20 seats. On the press release, Titan Poker management says “Titan Poker stages a highly popular $250,000 Guaranteed Prize Tournament every Sunday night, however on September 13, the focus will turn instead to the $1,000,000 Guaranteed. Many players have already guaranteed their seats at the hugely anticipated million-dollar event.”
Similarly, at PartyPoker, Monthly Million is played on the fist Sunday of every month. The game starts at 12:45 ET, the details of which are given in the PartyPoker website.
After September 13th, the Monthly Million will make a comeback this October 11th 18:00 hrs GMT.
As per the observations made by PokerScout, the portal that keeps tab of online poker rooms’ worldwide, iPoker is the third busiest network in terms of player traffic. However, it does not accept any US players. On that front, Full Tilt and PokerStars are two popular and busiest online poker rooms that accept American players with open arms.
