Everest Poker Announces $1 Million Match WSOP Promotion

Promotional offers have long been the USP of online poker websites, and reflecting on Everest Poker’s latest promotional offer, it seems that they also prefer to go by this norm, their wide popularity in the online poker domain not withstanding.

Everest Poker has recently come up with a unique promotional offer that benefits virtually every player who finds their way into the WSOP main event through the website. I.e. Everest Poker will track the progress of all players in its site, and totals the winnings of all those cash. Whatever the totaled figures is, Everest Poker will match it with an equivalent amount, the ceiling being $1 million, and distribute the money equally between all the players who had managed to qualify for the main event through the site.

The promotional offer is termed $1 Million Match, wherein all players who qualify for the WSOP Main Event will stand to win some extra money, even if they get knocked out on Day 1 itself. For example, if 150 players were to qualify for the WSOP main event through Everest Poker, and among them 12 players cashed for a combined worth of $600,000, Everest will match that by awarding each of the players $4000.

According to Nordic Regional Manager of Everest Gaming, Sondre Wasses, the new promotion is Everest Poker’s reciprocation to the loyalty shown by European players last year, by participating in large numbers in the World Series, and making it a success. Here is the last bit of the puzzle: last year, Everest Poker was a WSOP official sponsor. He added that “we want to reward that loyalty by offering a knock-out reason to qualify with us. This bonus gives everybody hope of winning something even if they are out early."

For players, there are umpteen ways to qualify for the WSOP main event through Everest Poker, some for as little an amount as $3. For more information on sit-n-gos and other scheduled tourneys, visit the Everest Poker website. However, it must be noted that the abovementioned promotion is not available for US residents and natives.
