Celebrity Last Longer Propositions Available on Bodog

Bodog has long been one of the big names in the online gambling industry and recently they have decided to get in on the action surrounding the Ante up for Africa tournament that will be part of the official events list at the 2009 World Series of Poker. The tournament has a start and end date of July 2nd and in total is expected to last no more than five hours.

The main purpose of the event is to raise money for poverty and war-torn regions of Africa and will raise money for a charity that has the same name. Some big names were involved in the initial creation of that charity, including famed poker pro and Celebrity Apprentice runner up Annie Duke as well as world class actor Don Cheadle. Both of them will be at the tournament as well, attempting to raise awareness of the issues that are going on in Africa.

In order to get in on the action, Bodog has placed a last longer proposition on their Sportsbook. Specifically, they are interested in getting an answer to the question of which celebrity player will last the longest. There are many different celebrities in the running including Cheadle himself as well as well known personalities like Matt Damon (star of the movie Rounders) and Jason Alexander (George Costanza from the Seinfeld television series). Other celebrities that are expected to make an appearance at the tournament include Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, Montel Williams, Hank Azaria, Casey Affleck, Dennis Rodman, Herschel Walker, Brad Garret and Reggie Miller.

These celebrities will be alongside some of poker’s greatest professionals including Erik Seidel, Phil Hellmuth, Howard Lederer, Andy Bloch and Tiffany Michelle. Overall, one can expect the showing to be quite impressive in both poker professionals and celebrity poker players and since it is all for a good cause, many have placed bets on Bodog as to who they think will last longer.

If the current proposition gets a lot of action, one can expect Bodog to expand their list of available poker prop bets on the Ante up for Africa tournament before the July 2nd start date.
