The Asia pacific Poker tour of the PokerStars.net, which is going on at Macau, ended its first day. Alex Cieng topped the list, as he was the only player there, who has ended with more than 100,000. The Grand Lisboa Hotel and casino, which has hosted 88 players, has been left out with only 43 for the $5,000 buy in event.

Marcel Luske, the pro of team PokerStars had a rough day. Though he survived and would advance to the second day, he will get it done with just over 15,000 which is 20,000 less than the starting stack. He even doubled up Wei Yeong as soon as his Queens beat the Ace King of Luske. Luske was also successful in sending some chips to Vladimir when his slick found the Ace on river against Luske.

Vladimir Geshkenbein, the winner of the 2009 event was successful in crossing the six figure mark very early but unfortunately he had to loose a key hand to Raymond Wu, the pro of Team PokerStar.

It was indeed a great day with fortune fluctuated from one side to another and finally it ended with Team PokerStar. A 15,000 bet by Vladimir on Wu led him to move to 3rd place on leader board. On the other side, Michael Durrer won a very significant against Mazunin as son as they saw a flop.
