Recently during an interview, cricket legend, Shane Warne, revealed his partnership with the king of gambling, James Packer. As stated by Warne, soon he will be launching his own poker card room at the Crown Casinos, Melbourne.
The opening of this brand new poker room is expected to be in the early 2011. The 40-year-old former Australian player is speedily increasing his business empire. He presently owned 16 different businesses. Some of the most famous ones include the “Advanced Hair”, the hair replacement program, along with several music deals and many such corporate alliances. In addition to this, Warne is also in a partnership with the international online poker mogul, the 888.com.
Thus, Shane Warne, one of the most successful Australian cricketers, is soon expected to make a grandeur lead in the world of gambling.
Warne will also be seen very soon with his own Ashes show on Channel Nine. When asked about his rapidly growing corporate image, Warne said, “It is all about how you cash in your image”.
However, Warne refused to reveal much about his upcoming venture, saying that his partner, James Packer, doesn’t want him to talk about this issue now. All the poker addicts have to wait till next year for the new poker card room to open at the Crown Casino.
Warne is also involved in other giant deals with designer Dunhill, Sky Sports and Cricket Australia. Thus, his post cricket career is definitely adding a plenty to his business portfolio. “Life is really going great at this point of time and I bet it has never been so better for me”, said the 40-year–old cricket great from Australia.
