Phil Ivy took another step towards his poker immortality this Tuesday morning by winning $3000 H.O.R.S.E event at World Series of Poker 2010. Phil received his second bracelet in last two years that makes a collection of total eight bracelets for him. The Full Tilt Poker professional is now tied with Erik Seidel for the fifth position at the all-time bracelet listing. He is now just behind the legends like Phil Hellmuth, Johnny Chan, Doyle Brunson and Johnny Moss.

Nothing can stop to compete with these legends as he himself claimed back in 2005 after winning his fifth WSOP that he supposed that he could win up to thirty bracelets. After winning he stated to the World Series of Poker officials “It is within the reach as long as everyone keeps betting on me at the bracelet bets.  I am sure that I will reach the top spot one day, if I keep on playing the way I do today and in a good health healthy. I do think that I can reach it.”

The bracelet bets are very popular among the poker players and the parties involved only know exact money figure of the wager. There are numerous side bets placed by some big names of poker over who will win the WSOP bracelet this year. Ivy also bets over him and one of his buzzing bets is with Howard Lederer where the wager figure is $5 million and Ivy bets that he will win couple of WSOP bracelets in current and the coming season. Being at the first place this year Ivy is paid $329,840 but it seems Ivy is hauling in much more through his individual bets.

However, the final table was quite strong this year as it holds five bracelet winners including Ivy, John, Bill, Ken and Jeffery. These players took five top slots in the tournament.
