Very recently, the World Poker Tour Amateur Poker League has decided to relocate its head office next to Eastgate Plaza, which is situated close to Rock Road and Kellogg. It has also decided to open its very first retail store not far away.
According to Kurt McPhail, who is the President of the World Poker Tour Amateur Poker League, the innovative World Poker retail shop will be opened prior to Black Friday. His company organizes poker contests in five different countries.
The new World Poker store will spread across an area of almost 750 square feet and will retail tradition poker tables and poker equipment. It will also enable its customers to book special poker cruises directly from there.
The majority of the things sold by the store are normally the type of equipments that the company tends to purchase for association owners, inside its group.
At present the company’s head office is located at 144 N. Oliver and spreads across almost 600 square feet. But, the new chosen location at Eastgate covers an area of about 1,100 square feet, which is far spacious than the previous one.
McPhail also declared that the company will be launching a new discount rewards club. Here, the members need to pay $69, on a yearly basis and in return, will get access to more than 20,000 day to day products, excluding poker supplies, at wholesale rates.
The store will have separate kiosks from where you can purchase those day to day products. You can also buy these products at their online at site, which is www.wptapl.com.
The World Poker Tour Amateur Poker League organizes almost 30,000 poker contests, on a yearly basis.
McPhail along with his associates, are still petitioning a verdict that their card game, known as Kandu Challenge is unlawful. With the IRS, they are trying to negotiate the interest expenditure on in excess of $435,000. According to McPhail this issue is expected to settled within this year.
