A surprising move, from Lacey Jones, one of the most famous female poker players, has concluded her association with Absolute Poker. This comes as a great shock for absolute Poker since this announcement has come just prior to the commencement of the 2010 WSOP tournament. Donkdow.com, owned by Todd Witteles and Bryan Micon, confirmed the news stating that Lacey have parted from a section of CEREUS Poker Network and not stated any reason for the split.
Lacey Jones regularly puts up updates on her Twitter network but since May 25th she has not been posting anything on her Twitter profile making this split even more mysterious. Micon’s radio program Cold Call also discussed this split but over there as well there were no reasons cited for the split. Lacey have posted a single message on Twitter stating some big and exciting news is awaiting her fans.
Surprisingly, absolute Poker still has Jones listed on their site. CEREUS has not been able to explain the reason behind this split but has mentioned that it was quite amicable. They have extended their best regards for Lacey’s future and they are quite confident that she is going to be successful in what ever she does in her future.
Lacey Jones is not only known for her poker playing abilities but she is also quite famous as a hostess. In fact, she was the floor announcer for the Doubles Poker Championship of Full Tilt Poker and the hostess for the event as well.
