A player from Oslo of Norway, he is also a member of the Everest Poker Live the Dream Team, he was adjudged as the winner of one of the most respected and prestigious bracelets of this series. This is actually a mixed event, which requires the player to master eight different forms of the poker variations namely No limit hold them, Limit hold them, 2-7 triple draw, Stud , Stud 8, Razz, Omaha 8 and Omaha.
It was Sigurd’s gruelling performance, whose 3rd day started from being on the 12th position and that too out of just 20 players left comprising the best players in the world of pokers like Todd Brunson and Bill Chen. He was not only given some of the greatest respect by many legends but was also complemented many a times.
The player, who has won $260,000, is totally ready for the main event, where he managed to finish the 3rd day as a chipleader.
Live the Dream Team 2010, with this victory, is very closely approaching the million dollar win for the team. This is definitely going to be a stunning performance by the team, which was selected by Everest Poker.
His performance is followed by Francesco de Vivo, who is in the second place at this EPT at Copenhagen. The 4th place at 3LT Baden is taken up by Javier Martinez, whose victory at Spanish Poker Tour Ibiza made him earn this position. He is followed by Tobias Wagner at the 2nd place of the same tournament.
With this and many more tournaments coming up and lined up for the team, this is surely going to throw a challenge as to who will get to clinch the trophy.
