80-year-old patient, admitted to the VA Medical Center, shared his story of gambling activity of dasher and told The Daily News Journal that he loaned $ 1,500 to the quarterback. Oliver Donnell, the patient, told Daily News Journal that he has no talked to the police about the debt yet. He said police never contacted him regarding the issue as nothing has happen ever related to the issue.
However, according to the police Donnell filed a complaint against Dasher in which he accused him that he owes a debt of $1,500 TO Donnell. Police told that they received a call from the patient at New York Medical Center claiming that he has loaned a great sum of money to Dasher and Dasher is no more returning his calls and messages.
So far the security officials and police said that they are not investigating the matter further as no formal charges are filed against Dasher from any Law Enforcement Agency or any other person. Virgil Gammon, the Chief Deputy of RCSO, told The DNJ that the sheriff’s bureau is not inspecting the issue. Security of the York VA Medical Center is also not scrutinizing the matter.
The Daily News Journal tried to contact Dasher but he was not available to comment upon the issue, as he was not present on MTSU’s practice on Monday. Chris Massaro, The athletic Director of MTSU publicized a statement, stating
“We are going to have a comment on this inquiry,”
“We do not find ourselves in the position of responding to all media reports. And at the same time, we cannot conduct thorough inquiries of similar events.”
On the other hand, Donnell accused that Dasher asked him to put him to the poker game by lending him money for gambling. Donnell stated that he has been gambling since he was eight so he has got 72 years gambling experience.
