Poker Royalty, the managing agency of David Williams, confirmed that the world’s largest poker website, PokerStar, has signed him as their latest Poker Pro.

Williams took the place at the final table of the WPTC (World Poker Tour Championship) at Bellagio. He won his fourth WPTC final table and was awarded with the winning bonus by Bodog.

However, it is whispered that he was unsatisfied with the bonus offered by Bodog and this is the major reason behind his parting ways with Bodog Poker.

David Williams emerged as a recognized poker player after his second place achievement at the main event of World Series of Poker 2004. He was runner-up to Greg Raymer and bagged more than 3.5 million USD at the occasion. Williams acquired a seat at the final table of World Poker Tour Bay 101 event and won a handsome amount of 280,000 USD.

Along with this victory, he also won the World Series of Poker Bracelet 2006 at 1,500 USD Seven-Card Stud Tournament. He also won another runner-up title at $5k No Limit 2-7 Draw Lowball tournament. Williams has won a huge amount of 8 million USD by playing in live poker tournaments.

The sky does not limit here for Williams as he has been featured in various telecasted tournaments like NBC’s “Poker After Dark,” National Heads-Up Poker Championship, PokerStars-backed “Big Game,” GSN’s and the “High Stakes Poker.”

Recently, he joined the PokerStar family that already includes big names of poker like Vanessa Rousso, Chris Moneymaker, Barry Greenstein, Peter Eastgate, Greg Raymer, Joe Hachem and Daniel Negreanu.
